10 Mistakes With Blogs Part 3
Always have a way to be reached.
For about 7 years I did most of my business here through affiliate links and an email. I continued in various chats lol When I connected traffic to a cell phone the whole world opened up as long as we could call. Now I am quite easy to reach. I answer messages between the content I write with Stephen Hall and Our Crazy Good Seo team.
Not Keeping Interest.
It is a really big issue here when it comes to keeping the interest of the people who take the time to read what crazy thing I'm planning to do next. Truthfully, the things I do totally work for me and it is really important to have something substantial to say. Get a plan to keep fresh ideas on a paper that you can add to your blog. Find as many ways to relate well with others using your own ideas.
Don't Go Out Of Your Niche.
Big laugh out loud on that one! I'm working on a healing page for Facebook when I started this three-part series. I do love my Seo and admire the fact that most of my blog are going to be about Seo. However, I also have other facets to my nature I wish to express also. I heal and this is my healing page: https://www.facebook.com/rainbowcityhealing
I will also be writing more content for our Crazy Good Seo business and for our clients that need content.
Don’t spread yourself thin
Make sure that you will have a little time to writing your blog if you want to keep followers. I have been bad for this one. I end up writing for our clients and I should also set aside some personal time for writing for my two blogs, affiliate platforms, and Rainbow City Healing Outreach. I am taking this a little more seriously lately because of the increase in traffic it creates. We all are here to learn and it is not a race.
I keep shining and for doing everything wrong. It has turned out to be just right for me. Blessings and have a great day :)

10 Mistakes With Blogs Part 2
Image Make Or Break-
What I have learned about images is they really can make or break your blog. I have learned if they are too big and bulky they break up the content too much. If they are the right size fit the blog nicely add pause but not become too distracting. They can be a particularly effective for selling a product with a description. I have both ruined and won with the image choices I have made at times.
Lead Capture To Funnel-
A very good idea to offer something small for an email. Have some kind of lead capture to funnel activity happening so you can resell other products and services in that niche. I often sell SEO content to clients. It’s an excellent way to establish service that a client needs or services they may want. I do this on a more personal level too. I chat with people on social media sites.
Not to Get Too Personal-
When I want to be personal and business says I should not. I think a blog should include a short story here and there. To me, it makes the business person seem more real. I do not think its good to complain a lot on your blog or mention personal problems though. A small positive story that makes you unique from other businesses and more like a real person that someone would like to do business with. Be real always in business and life.

10 Mistakes I Made With Blogs Part 1
When I think of all the things I have done wrong with my blog this list mounts.
1. Optimize Your Niche:
In my case, I did not at first as I changed mine. I started my blog with about as much optimization as I had for my scattered marketing at that time.
Yes, you're free to laugh along with me. At first, my blog was about marketing programs, add sites, traffic exchanges and other assorted programs and tools I was marketing at the time.
Yes sometimes I will talk about other things but it is primarily topic to my field for the largest part. I do tend to travel around as a Seo as I am into a few areas or niches. ;) This area or this blog is primarily about my niche or main topic of SEO now.
I am the other member of the Crazy Good Seo team. I put my SEO ideas, dream keywords, exciting content and other assorted thoughts on SEO. Including some offers and work, I have done for some clients.
2. Content:
Make it somewhat interesting and try not to put anyone to sleep. I try not to but we must do this first before we reread and make it interesting enough not to put anyone to sleep. If the content is too sales pitchy then it gets to sounding fake too.
I like to add a few interesting facts and then throw in a surprise. I am going to be a Grandma again for the fifth time! Something that draws attention and makes it real and less spun sounding. I got my Grammarly results and the amazing thing I noticed is that my content was 95% unique content!
3, Keep Updating With Fresh Content:
This one made me laugh the most. I would get busy with life or the next client and rarely update my blog lately. Somehow when I write something you are here to read my blog and I'm grateful. Ideally, the more quality you add and the more you update at least once a week.
The better your blog response and followers will be. I have made my mistakes in this department but I'm also fortunate that this is not my only source of driving traffic. My mentor got me started with a few great ideas and I have learned new traffic sources and methods as I went. Stay tuned for part 2 and blessings to my followers.
Here's the new I am marketing right here :)

I Know What Traffic Needs, I Am An SEO
How do I know what traffic needs? You might want ask me if you saw this head line. My methods are tried and true. They work if you check any of my results. They are ranking. I am definitely on Google Plus. We have many categories that Stephen and I are in depending on the category. I do this at Crazy Good Seo with my business partner, Stephen Hall. I have not blogged in about three months I know.
I took a course and became a Certified Reiki Practitioner and Reiki Master through the Christmas holidays :) It is great to be able to heal others and help those who need the added balance. I know I did myself.
Okay Laura, what does this have to do with traffic? You might ask me. While I was off doing that: My ads were running, my efforts still circulated and I got three referrals and made some extra money with my affiliate traffic programs.
The best thing about traffic and having things with key words is people still search for keywords that are relevant. It did not matter whether I feel like marketing or whether I am off becoming a Reiki master. Those funnelling systems are in place creating traffic all the time. I usually come back to Seo as I tend to love both, Seo and Reiki very much.
I am just sending my traffic to my usual links now too. The programs that pay me and or I have large down lines at. I still stick to my usual. If you hop to too many programs you will not make the same amount. I like my 8 because I can market them 2 at a time, 4 days of the week.
I also like to keep it simple and maintain my balance. I also heal remotely now that I'm a practitioner. I just tell people to fill in the form at the bottom of my website. I am working on names for my new website for healing.
I am always blessed to know you and I appreciate your support. Thanks for reading my blog page. http://www.laurajgodin-seo.me/
